From the age of 40 until shortly before her death in 1998, my grandmother kept regular diaries. Mom has been transcribing them in her spare time, and I'm putting them on the web where they're easy to get at. The first couple are kind of sparse, but the others are a pretty interesting snapshot of what life was like in Springfield, Illinois, in the fifties and sixties.
